Making the Queen of Clubs from wood, has been a challenge that turned out to be far more tedious than I had anticipated. Wood playing cards have been around for quite some time, having one made from 5 different species of wood veneer is unusual. I have a mild fascination with the art on playing cards, so I had to do it in wood.
The woods used to make these are as follows: Maple, Avodire, Bubinga, Birch, and Oriental Wood.
I try to keep it simple, but it never really works out that way. -YoPedro
