I've had this broken shovel kicking around my yard for ages, it's one of those yard art things that us really just an excuse not to throw away an old friend. I may want to repair it someday, or maybe it just might be worth something, you never know. Anyway, I never could figure out how to shoot it in a way that I felt was worth looking at. It is, after all, just a shovel, but I suppose that is the beauty of it. I particularly like the different colors / tones in the steel neck where the wood handle is attached. This is part of my Black and White Photography fetish, one that started a long time ago. -YoPedro

It's all a craftsman's manufactured world of images and tales, of people I have never met, places I have never been, and things I have never seen or done. It's all an illusion, what I like to call 'Pixel Farming'.
