This is one crudely built knife, and not one that brings good thoughts to mind. Who knows what really made the blade rust so badly? Maybe it had been buried in hopes that it would never be found? Maybe it was thrown off into a lake or a river, and storm or some random act of nature caused it to be washed up to the shore. I wonder why it was hidden away? Well, no. It was just up on shelf in a shed, and was never properly taken care of. Humidity and time did a lot to make this look so bad. -YoPedro
