Artist's Description
I've had this broken shovel kicking around my yard for ages, it's one of those yard art things that us really just an excuse not to throw away an old friend. I may want to repair it someday, or maybe it just might be worth something, you never know. Anyway, I never could figure out how to shoot it in a way that I felt was worth looking at. It is, after all, just a shovel, but I suppose that is the beauty of it. I particularly like the different colors / tones in the steel neck where the wood handle is attached. This is part of my Black and White Photography fetish, one that started a long time ago. -YoPedro
