To me this is one very interesting tool to look at. I don't know how old it is, although the paint tells me it isn’t as old as the rust would make you think. The blade is wonderfully worn and has the most perfect amount of rust you could hope for. I doubt that it will ever be used again to cut weeds, but it still looks good in a photograph. So in a sense it has had a dual life. This is an odd looking tool. I wonder how long this style of tool has been around, and how many evolutions it has gone through? Ok, I don't really wonder those things, I was just making chitchat. This is one of those tools that has been in the family for a very long time, and at one point it was probably used by my Grandfather, or so I would imagine because he was not the sort of man to keep a lot of superfluous items around. That being said, it's a cool looking tool and with a name like "Winged Weeder", who wouldn’t think it was cool? -YoPedro
My latest images here on FAA/PIX are primarily A.I. based with a dose of manipulation tossed in. The images are not photographs, the people are not real nor are any of the stories attached to the images. It's all a craftsman's manufactured world of images and tales, of people I have never met, places I have never been, and things I have never seen or done. It's all an illusion, what I like to call 'Pixel Farming'.
